Summary:

During the summer months, my girls are always going to the park. They enjoy spending time outdoors climbing and swinging. Above all their favorite activity is running through the sprinklers. One of my main issues, I have with taking them to the park is everything I have to bring. It is hot so we go with drinks and snacks. They like bubbles, jump ropes and chalk. So far, everything can fit into one bag until I get to packing the towels. I have to say it is a real hassle. They each need one as the towels are always getting wet. I tried placing them into a bag but they get to heavy. I tried carrying two bags but it is difficult to run around with. They are my girls and I love them so I was a bag lady for years just to keep them happy. When the opportunity for reviewing the Shandali Travel Towel, a lighter travel towel arrived, I decided to give it a try.

The Shandali Travel Towel comes in two sizes small and medium. As I have two girls running through the sprinkler, I decided to go with the medium. To start off with, the Shandali Travel Towel is about 24 by 48 inches. When it arrived, it was so small, I was unsure the size but as I started to open it up, I was thrilled. It is pretty large. I felt like it kept going and going. To confirm, yes it can be folded really small and I am back to only carrying one bag with me to the park. The years of the shopping bag lady are over.

As for the the feel, the Shandali Travel Towel is really soft. It was like touching a soft layer of velvet. I like this a lot. I do not like drying my girls faces with rough towels. Even with sunscreen, the summer heat does enough damage to the skin so any protection I can give them is well worth it. The fact that the Shandali Travel Towel is so soft is a super huge plus.

As for the absorbency well, it has been a little on the cold side and the parks have not yet turned on the sprinklers. That still has not stopped me. I have been using my Shandali Travel Towel every chance I get. I use it to dry my hands after washing the dishes. I use it after I wash my hands when I come home. Basically every opportunity I get, I use the Shandali Travel Towel. I have to say, the towel has not been wet from use to use. It drys fairly which is perfect for taking to the park. I plan on using this towel all summer long.

Pros:

  • Nice large size
  • Soft on skin
  • Dries fast
  • Super absorbent
  • Folds to compact size
  • Three choices of colors to choose from
  • Two nice sizes to fit your needs

Cons:

  • Nothing

Suggestions:

  • I would by multiple Shandali Travel Towels and keep them in every bag. I would have a few smaller ones in my day to day bag and a few larger ones in my park bag and gym bag. They really work well and I like to have a towel always on hand when I am with kids. You never know when they might come in handy.
  • To all you moms with little children still in diapers, yes the Shandali Travel Towel will be a great option for changing your baby on the go. It is super soft and will add an extra layer when your baby needs a fresh cleaning.

Age Range:

  • Everyone

Bottom Line:

The Shandali Travel Towel is one of those really amazing travel towels. It is like having an all in one system with you wherever you go. It is super soft, very absorbent, dries fast, and will fold as small as you need it. If you are one of those moms going to the gym, taking your kids to the park or just need an extra towel, the Shandali Travel Towel is my new go to item.
